Symposium: Developing a Digital Textbook Strategy for Your Campus

The Florida Distance Learning Consortium invites you to join us at a one-day symposium February 8, 2012 on institution and state level digital textbook initiatives. The  Developing a Digital Textbook Strategy for Your Campus symposium will provide attendees with an understanding of the national trends, exposure to the prevailing models for both publisher digital textbooks and open textbooks, and an opportunity to participate in panel discussions of the various issues surrounding the models. Faculty, policy makers, and experts from Florida and across the country will describe their digital textbook programs, policies, results, and best practices. Two panel discussions will provide you with an opportunity to share your comments and ask questions. The first panel includes digital and open textbook providers and the second includes leaders from other state systems and institutions that have established digital textbook programs. Registration is now closed. Recordings of the presentations will be available soon after the symposium.
